Shoot Report

A slightly breezy but dry day saw an increase to 46 shooters at the Willie Elliot Trophy shoot.  There was some good shooting with six 50 straights and twenty four 25 straights for the day.  Tommy Gunn again took an early lead but was joined by Alex Morrison, Magnus Norquay (Orkney)and Alan Cameron all clean at half way.  Gordon Duguid and Buff Sinclair were the only two to clean the second half, but Alan Cameron only doubled his last target for an early lead of 50/149.  However, it wasn't all over as Magnus, Alex and Tommy still had a chance to beat Alan.  All let a few points away, so Alan took the Willie Elliot Trophy, with Veterans being decided with a shoot off between Sandy Gall and Gordon Duguid both on 50/147's.  Sandy won it, with David Alford taking Seniors (also on a 50/147), Olive the Ladies and Jack the Juniors.
