Shoot Report

A lull in the storm left a mainly dry day with a light breeze which luckily turned to snow after the shoot had finished.  The 36 shooters made up 8 squads and with ten 25's on the scoreboard after the first 25, Graham MacDonald and Douglas Henderson were leading the way with 74's.  Tommy Gunn and Willie Lamont both cleaned their second 25's and finished on 148 and 147 respectively.  Ian Mackintosh, Graham MacDonald,, Ian Ross and Alex Morrison all had one second barrel in the second half which left Graham tying with Tommy on 50/148.  The shoot off for high gun started well and Graham was first to double a target.  However, on the next move, Tommy dropped 3 targets and with Graham only dropping a couple more second barrels he took the Country Images Trophy.  John Falconer was the only person to clean the side trap with six others shooting off with 9's.
