50DTL - Phil Morgan Trophy

NEXT SHOOT>

30 guns turned out for the fifth shoot in the Winter Series for the Phil Morgan Trophy.  The conditions were good, with only a couple of wee showers, but mainly sunny with low wind.  Douglas Henderson led the way with the only 75 in the first half, but with 5 other 25 straights not far behind him.  Buff Sinclair and John MacKenzie cleaned their second lines and again 5 other's had 25 straights, with Stacy Gennard coming out on top shooting a 50/147  Angus Cameron and John Falconer also shot all 50 targets just 1 and 2 points behind Stacy.  Stacy's son Jon also put in a brave effort, winning the Novices and only 1 point behind James Cormack who won the Juniors.  Gill Naisby also made a big improvement, shooting her personal best and coming runner up in the Novices.
